Wrong it is a transfer station according to the metropolitan map

It’s a large white dot (we don’t use squares) (representing the standard transfers (intermodal or intramodal)

I think this will represent less than 5% of riders.
Dm to airport and west island to airport will still be a large amount
Also Pierrefonds-Roxburo going to both Fairview shopping mall AND McGill university in Saint Anne de Bellevue
Anse à l’orme for the john Abbott college + mcgill university will probably cause people to transfer
Surely we’ll get a semi-frequent bus line between the two
Why tho? The rem would be responsible for that
Why have a bus run between 2 metro stations when the metro is there
I could see myself going all the way to Bois-Franc to make that transfer and go to Fairview from Sunnybrooke, but Pierrefonds-Roxboro (with its bus terminal) will most likely have good (or better at least) bus lines between itself and des Sources/Fairview
Belle trouvaille, si c’est un plan du réseau de 2030, je suis étonné qu’il n’y a pas le segment du SRB Pie-iX qui va de Pierre-De-Coubertin à Notre-Dame.
That was not financed yet so the STM could not place it in
121 Sauvé / Côte-Vertu
C’est pas financé?
C’est en construction depuis un an… As-tu vu le sujet du SRB Pie-iX?
I mean, I think that it makes sense to link two transport hubs together, especially when the branches are relatively close to each other!
121 should not exist with the orange line loop also it’s a big U the orange line vs the small V shape that’s the rem
When that map was made the artm did not ask the STM to put that part in due to it not being 100% financed in legal terms
That was one of the first thing that was spotted when they released this but that was before the STM confirmed the beginning of the works of this
What?
À ma connaissance aucun parisien n’a protesté…
121 is the busiest STM line. People take it reach the closest metro station CV or Sauve. So nothing to do with orange line loop.
Sadly we have those laws (not gonna talk more about it)
What i don’t understand is that EXO has bilingual messages on every stations on the Vaudreuil hudson line due to cities that they pass having bilingual statuses so why is the rem not allowed the same exceptions
(Not in the train it self but stations announcements have always been bilingual, examples are boarding on the opposite side, delays, cancellations, etc. (heck when a human talk they even goes in both languages) bonus when the operator goes on mic they even do it in both languages in the train(attention ce train est en direction de hudson, attention everyone this train end’s in HUDSON, have a great ride, recently we had to rotate the train using the SJ bifurcation because of track work at mtl-west so the train operator went on mic and explained the entire situation in both languages))
So if exo is allowed to cather to the west islander why is the REM a blanket no
EXPECIALY at BF would been important for the west-island&airport branch
And for the airport station having federal jurisdiction forging bilingualism, it is to late already
Tu m’apprends quelque chose… Donc la gare Exo serait de juridiction municipale?
Idk but go to mtl West during the afternoon train rush hour, they announce “le prochain train est en direction de Candiac, the next train goes to candiac” in a automated way and if they need to shuffle trains they go on mic with a human doing both languages and mtl-west has bilingual status.
screens are French only tho
Line 11 i assume it’s easier to blanket bilingual announce due to many people being english only
And maby it’s possible that stations are municipal jurisdiction (Pointe-Claire EXPECIALY has a joint ownership of its stations)
Ile perrot idk it’s status but last i been there they still gave bilingual messages that the boarding would be on the opposite side
The 205 and its labyrinthine route would be quicker.
