Yeah, seriously, if the city lets that happen then I just simply do not know what’s going on anymore
I was talking about the building that is currently used by the Apple Store!
No it’s not, the building is heritage and will be restore Apple either goes in very ornate heritage building or will build their crazy futuristic slick design store without wall, like in Chicago. No more big grey metal panels

We could definitely use another Apple Store on the island… 2 stores for what? Almost 2 million people?
Apple generally does about 500,000 people per store I believe, so another store wouldn’t be too much
In which location would you see another store on the island?
Honestly, either Mile End (although it’s not that dense there so probably not), or Royalmount. At Yorkdale in Toronto which is very similar to Royalmount (in terms of location to city, connection to public transit, similar businesses), they have a store there. In NYC, there is an Apple Store in a high end mall under the World Trade Center which is also similar.
I also think that Royalmount would be a great location for an Apple Store.
- The North Shore has Apple Store Carrefour Laval. The South Shore has Apple Store DIX30. Downtown has Apple Store Sainte-Catherine (which is going to soon move to a bigger space, so no need for a second store downtown). The West Island has Apple Store FairviewPointe-Claire.This leaves us with two zones that are not covered sort of: Eastern Montreal, and Western-Central Montreal.
- Eastern Montréal is less rich than Western Montreal.
- Apple has a store at DIX30. DIX30 and Royalmount are both owned by Carbonleo.
- There are lot of rich customers at Royalmount due to the selection of stores.
EDIT · Added Apple Store Fairview Pointe-Claire. Thanks @SameGuy!
