It looks like they are preparing to possibly move the sales office to infront of the ETS. There are construction trailers on site, as well as portable toilets for workers. There a large sections n of the land that has been cleared as well.
Seriously, does AS + GG have any completed projects here? It seems every major city with a picturesque skyline has at least one SOM, Adrian Smith or AS + GG signature work.
I’m still sad that the 2017 version of both 750 Peel and 600 Peel got scrapped for more small generic boxes. CF really missed an amazing opportunity and did not take advantage of a hot market. I get there was also public consultations to ask for zoning changes and that will take forever but still, CF once again showing no cajones and flaking out to save $$.
Yup. Like I asked just above: AS + GG, KPF, Foster + Partners, Pelli Clarke Pelli… none have been involved in any Montreal works, which is a shame. Even the great SOM only designed CIL (Telus) here.
KPF was involved in 1250 René-Lévesque (IBM-Marathon) and Tour Deloitte. But I agree, not many starchitects and world-class firms in Montréal projects lately…
Si quelqu’un est dans le coin, surveillez le bureau des ventes Quad Windsor. Il y a eu de l’action hier, ils semblent être en train de rénover ou de déménager.
J’ai pris quelques photos. Le bureau de ventes est fermé et on commence à vider l’intérieur. On ne voit plus la maquette géante qui trônait à l’accueil.
pensez vous qu’ils vont éventuellement faire un autre édifice sur le terrain au sud entre l’ETS et le 750 peel, ou s’ils ont confirmé dans le béton que ça sera un parc comme sur la photo ? Ce terrain serait tres intéressant comme projet et hyper bien situé
