Ailleurs dans le monde - Transports en commun

Here’s yet another video by RMTransit. It seems that he heard the peoples who were saying that he is biased against trams! Seriously though, if you take a look on Google earth, this system is mostly grade separated. Most of the major road crossings are either near the city center, or right next to stations where the tram would have to slow down regardless. The vast majority of the tracks are on the side of the road rather than in the middle of a 3 lane boulevard as are many North American systems, and as is being proposed for Québec, or as I expect will be on the final report of the ARTM for the east of Montreal.
