I’ll include this here because it’s more general, but I made my own varient of the RÉSO logo. It’s red and white for Tourisme Montréal, and the city’s colours. For the S I tried to use a font most similar to the Tourisme Montréal logo. Instead of being different squares, I made it one shape. By not alternating colours and boxes, it can be implemented more easily on things (just changing the background colour to black)
Overall though I don’t love it, the different thickness in fonts makes it look messy. Here’s a varient without the exo e and it looks a bit better in my opinion:
