For using the stairs you can use this entrance for each platform but for elevators you have to go different ways, exit the fare gate and cross the hallway. But it’s okay because Gare Centrale is 1 minute and EM is 3 to cross each side for free

Also REM fare gates allow you to retap the same fare multiple times as a transfer unlike the metro, even within different stations. I.e. you can go to a station, exit, and tap back in on the same fare within 2 hours.

C’est bien que les gens vont être obligés d’apprendre leur destination (A2, A3 ou A4) donc personne va se rendre compte juste à Bois-Franc qu’il s’est trompé comme sur la ligne orange quand elle arrête à HB. J’aime le nouvel accès direct métro à Montréal Trust.
Le genre d’affiche qui nous fait réaliser qu’on y est presque guys!

From what it sounds like, no exterior signage will installed here for the REM, despite the STM asking them to add it and there being space for the signage (such as at the newer accessible access at 705 Boul de Maisonneuve Ouest).
I will be looking into this over the next couple of months…

It boggles the mind. If the profit motive is supposed to motivate CDPQ, how can it not take advantage of an open invitation and free real estate to advertise?

Il n’y a également aucune signalétique du REM à l’Ile des Soeurs du côté de la Pointe Nord. Il faut littéralement arriver devant la porte pour voir “Station Ile des Soeurs” en arrivant par la rue Jacques-Le Ber ou n’importe quelle tour des Evolo. Assez curieux, mais CDPQi ne semble pas enclin à promouvoir son produit sur ses différents sites.

Maybe installing it now before the station is opened would misdirect people searching gare centrale ?
And yet they seemingly didn’t care about signage during the opening of Gare Centrale either
Sure It has to be physically ready and there needs to be a plan now on where to put it.
The lack of mentioning “REM” anywhere worries me
