à l’intérieur du centre eaton tout est restauré ils devraient vraiment paqueter leurs trucs et rouvrir.

J’ignore c’est quoi la situation en termes d’aiguillage, mais ce serait tellement un gain pour la réputation du REM s’ils pouvaient ouvrir jusqu’à McGill, en attendant le tunnel de Mont-Royal.

What would be nice is even having it limited to just weekdays, on one track until they finish the tunnel (to give space to work and testing). But I doubt that would be an easy thing to do for such a short time frame
Both tracks need to be tested, I don’t think that could work

Ils ont asphalté un bout de Maisonneuve?
Je pense que l’asphaltage est celui des travaux de membrane du métro. Le REM n’a pas vraiment creusé sur Maisonneuve.

No if you just scroll up in this chat you’ll see they had to open a section of Maisonneuve to create the passageway between the metro and REM station.
@jacouzi Yes they repaved the section between the Eaton Centre entrance at McGill College, but not between McGill College and Mansfield.

Oui, c’est les coup de canon pour le jour du Souvenir, à chaque année à 11H plusieurs coups sont tirés à partir de René-Lévesque, je suis dans la Gare Windsor et ça fait vibrer l’immeuble

I think(?) this is new : the REM website now indicates that construction equipment should be gone by the end of 2024

Ça fait du sens. L’œuvre d’art a été retirée sur la palissade, donc j’imagine que la palissade va bientôt disparaitre.

I know it will be a work site again next year when the city redoes McGill-College, but in the meantime I’m just looking forward to walking on the eastern sidewalk of the street again.
