Jean-Yves is now open. Be cautious - there are two lanes that turn onto Jean-Yves in parallel. So, if you’re in the inside lane and planning to turn left toward Tim Hortons, be aware that another vehicle may be turning beside you in the outer lane.
Nobody in the West Island knows how double turns work; I nearly get clipped on a daily basis turning onto St-Charles from Brunswick and Ste-Marie, inevitably followed by a honk and a flip of the bird by the driver who drifted across two (or more) lanes.
2 meters high? Not so huge.
Oh yay! I can jump up to the station ![]()
Missing a “4”
La station REM de Kirkland mesure 24 mètres de haut à partir de la voie publique
According to a Reddit post, this is the corner of the 40 service road and rue Jean-Yves, by the Kirkland REM station.
If they put a light on the service road under Ste-Marie, it’ll cause a traffic quagmire worse than the St-Charles exit.
Confirmed - they did put lights on the service road under Ste-Marie.
They installed the traffic lights last Week. They start on March 16. Maybe the trains start on March 23! Let’s hope….
I can confirm trains are not starting in March and probably not until mid-April at the earliest.
They would have confirmed the opening already if it was opening March 23rd, because they require a 30 day notice for agencies to prepare
This what people like you say and then for the commising in nivember we knew only 3 week before so yeah! It was like October 27 or 28th when we knew
Il n’ouvrira pas le 23 mars lol
It was announced on October 20th an opening on November 17th which is 4 weeks
