The perspective is confusing me a little bit: there is no direct entry into the station from the street? You have to walk 50 m up a sloped sidewalk and then 50 m back to the entrance?

If you were starting from the doors - yes you need to walk a big loop.
If you are coming from the new parking lots - no you only have to walk 50m.

I think they should put a concrete island with plants around the yellow dashed area, I’m worried in the winter people will just try driving straight the wrong way into the roundabout! Maybe it’s more clear at road level

C’est justement quand même plus facile à déneiger avec cette configuration.

Oslo receives a lot of snow too but features these type of traffic islands before roundabouts.

They’re standard everywhere even in Quebec, it’s weird to not see one here
