Travaux d’aqueduc et de remise en état Station Fairview-Pointe-Claire
À PARTIR DU 4 OCTOBRE 2023, PENDANT ENVIRON QUATRE SEMAINES
Nature des travaux
Afin de procéder au branchement de l’aqueduc de la station Fairview-Pointe-Claire et de faire des travaux de remise en état, une entrave complète de l’avenue Fairview entre le boulevard Brunswick et la voie de service Nord de l’autoroute 40 est nécessaire. Cette entrave aura lieu à partir du 4 octobre 2023 pour une durée approximative de quatre semaines.
Impacts et mesures d’atténuation :
- Fermeture complète de l’avenue Fairview entre le boulevard Brunswick et la voie de service Nord de l’autoroute 40.
- L’accès au centre commercial Fairview Ponte-Claire sera maintenue en tout temps.

Something will be air conditioned at this station. Driving by this weekend I noticed a stack of outdoor condensers (at least six, maybe eight) on the side of the bus depot’s head house. AFAIK the depot’s shelters will be similar to Panama, and not closed. Is it possible there will be a closed waiting area on the ground floor of the station before the fare gates?
Yeah, generally not used for heat in an open space with doors constantly opening, like a bus depot. Infrared is usually more efficient. And they could also be used for cooling in the summer.
