But is the cinema making money? Brocco and RioCan have already mentioned reducing their Cineplex exposure across properties, I foresee similar with RioCan/Devimco at Dix30. Could they relocate it somewhere else on the properties? I suppose so, but I’m not sure they’d be interested in doing that unilaterally. Likely they’d put serious financial demands on Cineplex, but in the current situation (and likely slow post-crisis recovery) it’s conceivable that Cineplex might balk at such commitments.
