speaking of, I feel like the area is definitely mature enough in its identity to properly brand itself. I’ve heard Concordia Ghetto and Chinatown West, I’ve personnally referred to it as a bit of a Koreatown cuz it does feel predominantly korean in terms of restaurant offers despite it being pan-Asian. I know the area is technically called Shaughnessy Village, and residents sometimes refer to it as Shoni which gave its name to the local street fair. I would love to see some visual markers to underline it - I find it cool that even in the 21st century a neighbourhood can have its identity shaped by immigrants like it happened so often in the 20th.
