Le 23 c’est un dimanche… ça serait une date étrange pour une mise en marche officiel.
The Second Avenue Subway in NY opened on a Sunday, the Orange line extension to Laval opened on a Saturday, the Elizabeth line opened on a Tuesday, so I don’t really think the day of the week matters, as it’s all over the place. Also opening on a weekend like a Saturday could allow people free time to visit the network before their work week begins, but I agree a Sunday is a bit strange

1er avril est un samedi, 1er mai est un lundi
Si les tests vont bon train, je vois 2 scénarios:
- Lancement officiel le 1er avril, fin de semaine gratuit
- Lancement officiel le 1er mai, 29-30 avril gratuit
Je m’attends à ce qu’ils commencent la marche à vide à partir du 27 février. À voir.

J’ai vue passer 3 rames de 2 voitures sur le pont S-d-C ce matin vers 04h30. Toutes en mode automatique.

I recall reading somewhere, probably on the REM site, for the “fall 2022” launch at least, that they were supposed do a full run fully service test mode, operating during all the hours, but just without passengers.
we unless they announce a date before then, and we see the REM running consecutively for weeks on end, we “should” have an idea when it’ll open.
the term “should” is working extra hard haha
