Concordia University is currently doing surveys for their Master Plan Redevelopment of the Loyola Campus. This includes new buildings, a new bike path to connect from the south side, new wayfinding, and permeable parking lots.
I think those would be the first large scale permeable parking lots in greater Montreal, if not all of eastern Canada. It’s about time. I will be resurfacing my rather large suburban driveway in the near to midterm, and I’m considering using green pavers for a fairly large portion of it that doesn’t host parked cars most of the time.
