I’m not sure what NIMBY as to do with that.
It’s a decision from the de CCU regarding the PIIA.
We’re talking about a committee of architects, urban planers and landscape architects.
As you’re saying, the city can’t accept anything. And the problem is, most of the project submitted in Montreal are mediocre. There is a few good projects, and those are accepted very very quickly.
So it’s not a problem of delays, it’s mainly a problem of bad projects.
If you want a project to go quickly through the process, make it good the first time.
J’en avais un peu parlé ici, ce que les CCU et la ville ont comme pouvoir sur la qualité des projets est de plus en plus limité, et c’est en partie lié à ce cas partagé par elb. Parce que la qualité de l’intégration urbaine n’entre pas dans un tableau Excel, et par conséquent, est donc incompris par la forte majorité des gens. Et ce qui est incompris fait peur.
