The poles are ridiculously tall. The guideway in Kirkland is already ~20 m high, the poles are easily 6-7 m taller, for no explainable reason — there are no extra cable stays from the top to the crossbars. I think many people who don’t follow the project’s progress as closely as we do will be shocked at the final version of this, bearing no resemblance to the sleek, clean, modern design in the renderings presented since 2016.
