The empty building at the corner of Elmhurst and Harley Avenues once housed a co-op. The Société d’Habitation du Québec took ownership in 2018. Since then, different organizations have tried to get social housing projects off the ground, without much success.

Ils ont finalement commencé le nettoyage du terrain de l’édifice incendié et démoli en avril dernier sur la rue Saint-Laurent au nord du boul. de Maisonneuve. Je ne sais pas si c’est le propriétaire du terrain qui a cédé aux pressions ou si c’est la Ville de Montréal qui a perdu patience dans ce dossier de verrue urbaine.
