Personally every seasoned(pun intended) professional I work with doesn’t understand how Europea got a star. Ferrer has a bad reputation in the industry. Everything is pre-cooked in vacuum sealed bags and heated up to order. He’s just a pretentious show-off with an outrageously overpriced menu.
I’m looking forward to Michelin digging deeper into Montreal and maybe get a better grip of who we actually are as a city with a vibrant food scene.
