Cartes, plans et signalétique métropolitaine

Les ascenseurs sont représentées sur les autres cartes. C’est l’information beaucoup plus important que la minimalisme de la carte, dans mon avis.

However, it is done on the MR’s because those are EASY to replace(they basically take the place of an advert). The azur’s are the ones with Non-replacable maps. They had to be decommissioned to replace the entire panel

Azur maps are just a peek stick clear vinyl over the screen

Huh, not under?

I remember hearing they did not want to update the map because it was under the panel

I believe it is under the panel that covers the display. There’s an open window for the display, and another open window space below for the map. Something to note is the AZUR trains weren’t even supposed to get a map, the current lead signage director at the STM pushed for it a lot, and it finally made it. We could’ve been in a world where there’s not even a map in the trains…

Catherine Dib de l’émission radio Le 15-18 a parlé des problèmes de wayfinding à la Gare centrale et aux alentours

Elle a mentionné l’initiative de @mashdash mais est-ce bien @coledev qu’on entend dans les deux segments ?

Radio Can… Oh non… :disappointed: :anger:

Yes @coledev helped share some of my messages in French for me (as I’m still learning at A1 level). They saw we’re both into signage too!

The ARTM responds to my signs saying the next steps are to make them permanent:

Additionally the bakery my signs were added next to said they are less like an information booth now

Great initiative, mashdash. Your signs look really like something that the city would make. I like that.

All of my signs have been removed by Cominar

12 « J'aime »

 off to the ARTM labs they go

2 « J'aime »

Of course the only care to remove them after the media exposes them

I just went to Cominar’s office, and they showed me the signs I installed, as well as older signs installed by the ARTM before.

They told me that CDPQ Infra is actually the ones that have say, because they’re leasing it out to Cominar to then get Parks Canada to approve them to get them installed. It’s so many layers.

They are letting me pick up the signs that were removed though haha

It also seems like they’ve removed the ARTM signs:

Just, why do they remove that? They literally just want to complicate things further.

Infra? Not Ivanhoé?

Is it Cominar or CDPQi that decided to remove the signs?

I believe they removed the official signs now too because they mixed them up with my signs…

12 « J'aime »

Cominar removed them, they just said “it’s not authorized” without going into detail really
