I’m really surprised that they would put “EXO” and not the “11” line icon. Yes, it’s an exo service, but that’s not what’s important. It’s as if the REM signage put “STM” next to the metro icon instead of the line number and roundel.

Je pense que c’est dû au fait que Gare centrale n’est qu’un terminus temporaire et qui plus est pour certains trains de la ligne seulement. Dès que la station REM CDL sera mise en service, il est fort à parier qu’il n’y ait plus aucun train Mascouche qui se rende ou parte de Gare centrale.

Haha, I am writing my next article right now at home, and I’m exactly going to talk about this.
This is not white stickers on the signage, it is just that the stickers are so old, the outside elements caused them to be faded (the metal signage is okay however).
I find it frustrating with the new metropolitan signage standard, they did not find a way to make signage easily and cheaply replaceable, knowing that this is a flaw of the AMT standard. They don’t have to make the signage metal for example, they could use a plastic-metal composite sheet, which costs 1/4th the price to produce.
(Am I the only one who finds it funny, the only update they did to this signage was to stick the blue sticker to hide the AMT logo, on a faded sign?)
