I can’t wait for the YUL re-modernization. YUL must come into the 21 st century
Yeah it must be… I’m not aware of a thru flight on BA to DEL but maybe they have 5th freedom rights to do it? It’s strange, I guess it’s a connecting flight. BA is a huge airline and should have a bigger presence here. 787-8’s seem wrong sized and maybe offering an easy connection to Delhi will bring in more passengers from YUL. It’s a shame though it’s happening during this politically sensitive time.
Me too. I wish they’d start yesterday…
Interesting… maybe a new service to Montreal?
Possibly about Air Caraibe applying its code on French Bee’s ORY-YUL flight but would be great if it was a new service.
I was thinking FDF or PTP, and maybe onward to Cayenne.
Maybe they’re taking over from Air France? Would be a big aircraft upgrade if so. They do code share with French Bee though but Yul-ORY would be a strange disconnect for them IMO but anything is possible. I’m hopeing for direct flights south. It could also be for Toronto too.
Air Caraïbes’ aircrafts are way too much for YUL-PTP/FDF.
PTP is already well served with 3 carriers. AC/AF/TS
Maybe they plan to convert PAP to a hub for the Caribbean. They and Air France could feed it from Europe and from their easterly location they could forward passengers onwards to the Caribbean, Mexico and South America.
Not sure why they want scheduled service to Canada though. Are they getting A320neo sized aircraft? Even to Toronto the A339 and A350 are too big.
I doubt they plan on covering PAP, no one is flying to Haiti right now not even Air Transat.
