From what I remember seeing the height of the ceiling in Quai Nord is lower than in Quai Sud. I also saw pipes that were lower that the ceiling, (maybe the sprinkler system?) but I’m not sure it’s very dark. You can see from Quai Centre which is still open.
Also I hope in the future it can be renamed to Aire Nord, Centre and Sud, as Quai should be referred to the bus bays. In this case though Porte makes sense because it’s literally a door
The 404 and 498 ended service February 2nd, 2026. Here’s a La Presse article that mentions it.
To go with this, SJSR also no longer services TCV. Note they changed their plans, originally this was going to be in June 2025, but it was delayed at first, only to be delayed again. Finally, they changed their routes on May 1st to no longer use TCV. This effectively closes Quai Sud, making Quai Centre the only open portion.
Yes this is correct. I don’t believe there’s any real information on it closing or good, except for in person signs they added to the doors of the terminal.
RTL 55, 85 and 86 moved to Quai Centre when there was the REM closure over the summer and the 721 (operated by STM) went to Brossard, which we can see from these two maps:
October 1 2024: TCV_term_Centre_Ville_20241001.pdf (379.1 KB)
June 23 2025: TCV_term_Centre_Ville_20250623_sansREM.pdf (379.8 KB)
You are correct in that when the shuttles stopped operating on August 18, 2025, that was when they closed quai Nord. Because there was no service as of August 18th, they closed the terminal without a public posting as no service was removed for users (besides the shuttles). So this is the only evidence we have of quai Nord closing.
The 404 and 498 still runs at night. However the 404 and 498 stopped running during the day. But since the new branch is opening, I believe (and don’t quote me yet), but since the REM doesn’t close at 9pm anymore regularly, I think these are getting axed very soon.
