Station Kirkland

The remaining of my nighttime photos

Also we really need a pedestrian overpass here. You literally are told to just walk on the side of the literal Highway on-ramp off-ramp

Or just be a resident of kirkland with the plan of the city

If its like anything else nowadays, its no longer being manufactured and has been replaced by a new version, or the company went bankrupt / was bought out by a competitor.

La rue Jean-Yves est ouverte depuis un bon bout déjà. La voie de service de droite reste cependant encore à ouvrir.

Tree planting in Kirkland

Construction activities
September 30 to November 1, 2024
West Island and Airport

Nature of work

Tree planting activities carried out by the NouvLR consortium as part of the REM project are taking place behind Houde and Niagara streets in the week from September 30 to November 1.

This planting area, which was once a wooded area, will see approximately 370 trees and 185 shrubs typical of the region being planted.

These planting activities are part of the compensatory measures for the REM work and will be subject to environmental monitoring to ensure their proper growth for ten years.

Impacts and mitigation measures

  • No impact is expected on pedestrian and cyclist traffic.
  • Vehicule traffic is possible near the planting area.
  • The planting area will remain temporarily marked to protect the plants.

The map below shows the location of the planting area :
