Here, we have a transit-accessible gas station/car wash,
a time-machine, …
and LOTS of parking…
Overall, definitely the least exciting station of the bunch but the potential is huge if the Sources overpass is made more safe and if more dense residential projects continue to be built.
Is that the Belle-Pro adjacent to Verti-Store? I haven’t ventured inside in 30 years! FWIW one of the busiest 24h Lafleur in the CMM is a one-minute walk away at the corner of Hymus.
I would have enjoyed taking the REM to the Bar-B-Barn if that option were still available. ![]()
Is this officially “kitsch” ?
it’s not 24h anymore ![]()
I didn’t know that.
I visited the Lafleur near Des Sources, definitely less “retro” than the La Belle Province down the road…
One particularly observant old man claimed that the REM plagiarized their logo from Lafleur, began to crack up, then proceeded to tell every worker his new found discovery…
During my rides today, I noticed that (to my surprise) Des Sources was the second busiest station, most likely due to the parking lot (that wasn’t even full)…
It’s surprising to see bikes at this station when the surrounding area is so extremely hostile to active mobility…
Many people predicted “car doomsday” because the West Island REM lacked parking.
Adm announced today that the Shuttle Bus going from Rem Des Sources to the Yul Airport will be coming in June 17

Anecdotally, so very many of the workers in nearby industries and warehouses can be seen walking to public transit (bus stops, often on the north side of the TCan) over the past couple of decades, that REM must be a godsend for them.
Not sure if this is good info:
The rate varies depending on the destination. Zone A fare is required to use this service. This fare is valid for 120 minutes across the entire STM bus, the metro network and the REM. Find out which tickets are accepted on board.
It sounds like the STM will run the service, because :
- It’s an 800 route (and most shuttles for the STM are 800 something).
- It sounds like it’s fare integrated, from what I understand, it needs a Zone A fare.
Again, these are just suspicions, nothing confirmed.
I did not read above, but it is confirmed :
