I already noticed Sout spots where the train exausts are positioned… HEAVY BLACK stains
I asked exo on day one (i was part of the first train)
And they said that these holes would allow ventilation and prevent soot deposits
Guess that this will be an issue if cpkc ever idles one of there locomotives in the station
Silly question, but does CPKC operate the trains or is it Alstom?
Alstom operates the current contract that is ending soon.
Cpkc owns the rails and are legally allowed to occupy the station with freight (track/quai 1 is freight only for example)
Btw apparently, the person who took the sign confirmed that exo placed a new exo sign.
If someone’s in Montreal who can take a photo of the new sign, would be greatly appreciated
By the time RTM gets around to replacing all the old AMT signage, the exo servicemark will have been deprecated in favour of something else.
We can’t electrify it because it would impeed freight delivery
Cpkc would block it because they could not tripple stack freight they need to deliver to Windsor
Until we can buy the Windsor spur (never happening because it’s literally free money for cpkc to rent us the rail while having to do 0 maintenance) we aint getting electrification
I would LOVE to see a picture of a triple-stack freight train offloading at Lucien-L’Allier! Does anyone have pictures?
I know we talked about freight trains coming to LL earlier, but I assumed they were just using it as a place to park a freight train temporarily.
All the new signage at LL
The tunnel sign is in “3D”
They also have signs pointing left (towards the doors) but i did not take those photos
(Idk what the brail says, i sadly don’t “speak” fluently brail)
It’s done
