It’s just me, or I found it weird that it’s black, white, black, white, why not all the ‘‘transport related info’’ together and all the other info on the white board, with the red on top
Pretty sure it’s only like that because the top 4 were already there ![]()

They’ve replaced the signs with brand new double sided displays that have very thin boarders and follow the new terminal format UI:
I really want to see the STM dot matrix to also get replaced with these all over the island
im curious what the reliability of this is compared to the stm dot matrix. realistically a bus stop has much less info to display than a terminus, maybe if the dot matrix are more reliable it’s not worth the hassle.
They use it at terminus tho, that’s my big desire for replacement
The problem with dot matrix is the availability of parts. With their use declining, it is becoming harder and harder to repair or replace them when they do fail. In comparison, screens are generally plug and play. You can pick just about any screen and be certain that it will either have the right video connector, or that an adaptor is available.
Incredibly how just the south shore REM stations manage such good ridership with such efficient station design and small footprint on their environment, compared to similar downtown stations
All that’s missing now are the train stations and it will be perfect
Also for now IDS being the lowest ridership station makes sense but hopefully it will increase
Georges-Vanier has less! But I wonder if this will change because a bus line finally stops at it
That station has no reason to exist and it was just a blur on my mind lol, your right
Edit: sorry, not meant as a reply to you!
Pre 2011 post 2009
Laval exist, square Vic not OACI
Also Rigaud existing so same timeframe
So my guess was very close! I am surprised it has not been updated in all this time.
