While these maps technically point in the correct direction, I think it’s a little confusing to have them point to the opposite side at Laurier:

It’s aligned with the top of the staircase! So you see it when exiting, which makes it even more confusing the placement haha.
In my opinion, we should have placed them both beside each other closest to the escalator (where the Montmorency one is), with Côte-Vertu one pointing down (there’s not really another good way to show this), and the Montmorency one staying as it is, but placed just to the right:

Would those panels make more sense on the other wall, on your right, when you get down the stairs ? Because you need to see them to know where you’re going, more then when you are getting of the stairs from the platoform

Je viens de voir que l’arrêt René-Lévesque / Berri a été doté d’une nouvelle signalétique pour la 747. C’est mieux, mais reste que l’avion aurait dû être plus gros à mon avis.
Il y avait également une petite affiche qui expliquait où acheter son titre (sur Chrono ou aux bornes de stationnement).
Je crois que c’est le seul arrêt au centre-ville qui est doté de ces deux éléments.

Yes this new larger bus stop design is used for Navette services (such as the 730), so we may see it on Jean-Drapeau in the future!

Do you think there’s a way to make the airplane icon bigger and clearer while keeping the same standard?
The standard is based on the taxi collectif, they’re not meant to have a pictogram beside it, it’s meant to be a bold sign with the information beside the number. Additionally the text makes it clear it’s for the Airport in my opinion

I’m mostly thinking about people who don’t speak French. I think it’s not that uncommon for tourists to try to board the 747 in the wrong direction.
EDIT - What if we removed 1 and Aéroport, and had just a big airplane icon?

These are automated by their route and not manually designed, so I don’t know if that’s possible

I sincerely don’t understand the idea behind 747-1 and 747-2. Why not just two route numbers, like 747 and 787?
I guess it will all be moot in a year…
I think letters after 747 (747A and 747B) would have been clearer. Its a common way to do it as well.
Ce ne sont pas tous les bus de la STM qui peuvent afficher un numéro de ligne avec une lettre à l’avant.
