Ouvrages d'art Antenne Anse à l'Orme

I’m pretty sure that’s still not at “service speed,” because the cars going 60 or 70 km an hour on the service road appear faster than the train. But yes, it sure is faster than during the previous tests. Very exciting.

So true!

Amazing to watch. Again this project is a huge plus for Montreal and for the West Island. It is not perfect but people don’t realize yet how next Fall will be a game changer for hundreds of thousands of people and for the entire city itself.

Almost 50 km of metro 2.0 will open within the next 12-16 months…huge!!!

People in the East were upset when Rem1 was announced that there was nothing for them.

…and then they spit on the Rem2…dumb…

People from Kirkland etc…will have so many options to go to a lot of places in the Montreal area without their car.

It’s barely audible with the highway ruckus ain’t it?

Exactly, whatever sound it made melted into the background noise. All you could hear there was a light hum.

Just left Cosco and i saw it cross highway 40 literally silent and could not hear it at all

Spotted 3 pass by between Fairview and Kirkland. Literally under them in the 419 and pure quiet

I can also confirm they do use the garage saint Anne

Just saw an eastbound four-car train crossing Saint-Charles at 18:49 and a westbound one at Berne two minutes later. First time I’ve seen testing in the evening.

Man lucky you for seeing a long rem

I have to assume they are taking every minutes in a winter storm as an opportunity to not have the same issues as phase 1

storm

Light drizzle
Snowflake fall
Light winds
-5⁰C weathers

There’s a lot of testing going on today. I was driving eastbound on the 40 between Kirkland station and St. Charles and saw the short rem going eastbound. I drove the same speed as the rem and found it was travelling around 90 kph.
Afterwards, at home, I have direct sight of the tracks from one of the rooms in my house (apologies for the screen on the window)

Lol I finally caught a glimpse of trains testing on the AA branch, at around 1:40 pm: a short unit eastbound passing the now-demolished old Merck campus, and in the distance a westbound shorty going over the St Charles hump.

Bemused that the rather large bus loop at Morgan err Baie-d’Urfé oops Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue I meant Anse-à-l’Orme station is only getting little bus shelters rather than the usual full-length shelter with heated and cooled waiting area like at Panama, Fairview, Sources, and Bois-Franc.
