Its really easy for transit to desync tho, and then you miss your exit

GO Underground is working extremely well for me, I recommend others use it too. Note this data is not shared to others yet (so it’s essentially just used to let you know where you are) because it’s not 100% accurate:

Hmm, je n’ai pas cet option. Est-ce que c’est seulement pour les iPhones?

You just have to do directions somewhere via metro and it does it automatically, there’s no specific thing to press or turn on.

You have to make sure the Motion & Fitness (whatever equivalent on Android, how it detects you’re walking) is enabled.

I did. :frowning:

Feel free to email transit then in the settings, it’ll send device info to see what is needed to turn make sure it works

That feature is also one that has been broken for me for ages. I tried to use it when the bike routing was released because selecting a bike route crashes the app every time, but trying to do a bug report just gives a loading screen forever. I gave up on using Transit for anything but bus trips.

Seems like a problem with the app on your phone because I’ve never heard of every feature crashing haha. I sent you a message

For me, Chrono doesn’t work at all. I can’t use schedules, I can’t see nearby transit, the only thing I can do is trip plan:

That app only reason to exist anyways is the opus feature

They switched to MapLibre tiles ages ago for me; I’m surprised it’s still Google on your device.

Try reinstalling the app. It could be that the local data file is corrupt.

On iOS, they use - to my dismay - Google Maps

The POI search still uses Google data anyway, so having the tiles be OSM data-based is just decorative. :pensive:

Just did that that fixed it. @une.abeille maybe try the same with Transit and that should fix your problems too

My endgame mobile maps app would be if Transit integrated better POI search — specifically based on OpenStreetMap data. It would help with adoption of the app by pedestrians and cyclists a lot if they could use it to search for water fountains, bike repair stands, and that sort of thing. I currently use OrganicMaps for this purpose:

But for transit routing, it’s terrible. It’s a shame I have to have so many different apps downloaded.

Currently it just uses Apple Maps if you’re on iPhone, and Google Maps on Android, but the map data (walking, biking directions) are OSM based.

That would be really cool, especially with the new biking directions having that visible on the map would be nice. Because there is still OSM at the base it is possible

Le problème d’affichage des lignes de bus sur l’application Chrono était dû à une situation hors de notre contrôle.

Any agency that works with Transit has direct say in how lines appear on their app. That’s how they got purple STM buses on it first, and how RTL could show their preview bus network.

Compare that to Chrono, the ARTM does not work well with the agencies, and they don’t even have control over their own $6 million app because everything they use is just a reskinned Google Maps.

May i ask someone to try and try to load a card that’s a dedicated card (non standard)

It seems like Chrono does not allow the purchase of any tickets

Looks like a bug to me. Since only your 1 trip and 2 trip fares are valid, you should be able to buy 10 trips, evening unlimited, weekend unlimited, 24hrs, 3 days and 1 month fares.
